Servers cheat sheet

This is the ultimate cheat sheet for any server in a Mexican restaurant to copy down and memorize.

This first list here are the abbreviations or shorthand versions of the kinds of meals normally found in a Mexican restaurant. 


T - taco    

T S - taco salad 

Faj - fajita 

Q - quesadilla 

Ench - enchilada 

Chim - chimichanga 

B - burrito 

This here is a list of the common proteins found in a Mexican restaurant. 

Cmol - carne molida ( ground beef )

PL - pollo linia ( shredded chicken ) 

Stk - steak 

PG - pollo grilled ( grilled chicken ) 

K - (k)amaron ( shrimp )

Chor - chorizo 

F - frijol ( bean ) 

The way that you write your orders is in this specific set up. 
Meal type + protein 

If your guest is ordering more than one of a single item, put the number of whatever they ordered first , then proceed with the normal order set up. 

Here are some examples of how you would write them down. 

Q PG - quesadilla + grilled chicken 

Faj steak - Fajita + steak 

3 T Cmol - 3 + Tacos + ground beef 

only put the number before if they want them on the same plate. If they want them plated separately, put dashes before the order set up. 
Example : 

lll Q Stk - (lll) + quesadilla + steak
